The GMH | Gebäudemanagement Hamburg has the task of planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties, taking into account educational needs, and leasing approximately 60 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Training. The school properties include all land and buildings used for educational purposes by state and vocational schools. The total land area of all general and vocational state schools is approximately 9.1 million square meters, and the main usable area is approximately 3.1 million square meters. In this capacity, GMH has been commissioned to renovate Building 06, demolish the Kreuzbau, construct a new canteen/auditorium, and renovate the outdoor facilities at Eißendorfer Straße 26 in Hamburg.
