The station Blaufelden was temporarily downgraded to a halt. As part of this project, tracks 2-4 and 8 points in Blaufelden are to be renewed. In addition, an ESTW-R with conditions from Niederstetten and a second external platform are to be newly constructed. The ESTW-R Bad Mergentheim project, incl. 5 BÜs, provides for the construction of a new ESTW-R incl. the level crossings within the area of influence, the barrier-free conversion of the station Bad Mergentheim and the establishment of a storage facility on line 4953.
