VITAZ plans to build a new hospital campus on the Neerkouter site, located along the N41. Based on an earlier mobility study, it has been established that extensive infrastructure adjustments to the N41 are necessary to ensure safe and smooth accessibility. Scope of the study assignment The assignment includes, among other things: • Reconstruction of the N41 – Heimolenstraat intersection, including the construction of an underpass for cyclists and pedestrians under the N41 at the location of the Heimolenstraat. • Reconstruction of the N41 – N70 intersection, with optimisation of traffic management. • Redevelopment of the N41 between the Heimolenstraat and the exit to the N70. • Construction of additional cycling infrastructure in the immediate vicinity and connecting to the hospital campus, including: o Connection to the Smisstraat. o Connection to the Dommeldreef.
