The city of Edenkoben plans the construction of a new four-group daycare centre. The new building is to be constructed on a 2,711 m² plot, preferably on one level, located directly on Rhodter Straße. A site plan including an aerial view is part of the tender documents. A challenge is the planning of the access road, as the development for staff and parents, particularly the parking spaces, is to be located on the northern parcel 2390/27. Between the two lies a vocational school, across whose grounds the pedestrian access is to be provided. Goods delivery is to be via Rhodter Straße, with the option of 1-3 additional parking spaces at the southern boundary of the property. The daycare centre is to be constructed preferably on one level; the requirements of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate for the planning of daycare centres must be observed. The technical building equipment must meet current requirements and be future-proof. A cost estimate as of 27.10.2025 is also part of the tender documents. The costs have increased by approximately EUR 300,000.00 compared to this estimate due to the installation of a fresh cooking kitchen, which is also to be planned. The kitchen is to be designed for approximately 200 meals, of which 100 meals for the new building and 100 meals for existing daycare centres. The cost figures are given as preliminary estimates and may change during the course of the measure.
