The contracting authority intends, within the framework of this tender, to procure the performance of network-based penetration tests. The network-based penetration tests are to examine the IT components (e.g. routers, firewall systems, mail servers, DMZ systems, web servers, database servers, but also client systems) of an IT network (reachable from a source network (Internet, WAN, LAN)) for technical security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
