Spain – Weather stations – Suministro, instalación y puesta en servicio operativo de la actualización del radar meteorológico de la Xunta de Galicia, situado en el monte Xesteiras (Cuntis), cofinanciado por la Unión Europea en un 60% del gasto elegible en el marco del programa Galicia FEDER/FEDER 2021 – 2027.

The technological update of the meteorological radar of the Xunta de Galicia located on Monte Xesteiras (Cuntis), through the supply, installation and commissioning of the necessary equipment and systems for its modernization, in order to improve the atmospheric observation capacity, the quality of the data and the continuity of the public weather forecasting service, in accordance with the technical specifications established in the Particular Technical Prescriptions Document. The action covers the supply of the components for the modernization of the radar system located on Monte Xesteiras (Cuntis) as well as the necessary services for its integration and operation, guaranteeing compatibility with the existing infrastructure, all in accordance with the PPT, in particular it will include: the update of the radar's transmission and processing systems to more efficient and reliable current technologies and the renewal of the structural protection elements of the radar system; the installation, integration and commissioning of these systems; the performance of specialized technical tests (FAT, SAT) and advanced configuration and calibration tasks; the necessary associated technical services for their correct integration and operation. It will also include the training and delivery of the manuals, and any other service or supply that, although not expressly mentioned in the tender, is indispensable for the proper functioning and operability of the update and for the correct execution of the contract.
