The SNCF maintenance site in Chantenay, located near Nantes station, is currently operated by SNCF RESEAU on 11 tracks and SNCF VOYAGEURS on 6 tracks. The new maintenance station will be built in place of the existing SNCF RESEAU tracks, which will be removed to make way for 6 TGV-compatible maintenance tracks, suitable for TGVM and TGV Duplex. These 6 storage tracks, including 2 fully covered pit tracks, will be 420m long. Maintenance equipment will be installed (sand distribution). This contract will interface with other contracts (toilet emptying and washing machine). Furthermore, as part of this contract 7, a 70-space car park will be built, with a shelter for soft mobility/motorcycles. More detailed description in the DCE attached to this notice.
