The listed Catholic Youth Hostel in Oberwesel is to be renovated and extended to allow it to continue to be used as a town and assembly hall. The building was constructed in 1923/24 and is located in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage site. While preserving the historical dimensions of the Catholic Youth Hostel, the building is to be renovated as a general refurbishment of the town and assembly building, both structurally and through building services equipment, to bring it up to the current standard of building technology and thus ensure its functionality and economical maintenance for the future. The Catholic Youth Hostel will be renovated and extended by two two-storey extensions. The contract for object planning services for buildings and open spaces, awarded as Lot 1, has already been awarded. It is at the stage of building permit planning. Now, with this notice, the tendering of Lot 2: Specialist planning services for technical equipment HLS and, with a separate notice: Lot 3: Specialist planning services for electrical technical equipment, is following. For further details, reference is made to the scope of services and the energy concept attached to the tender documents as well as the planning documents BA. The energy concept is to be implemented as presented; the contract includes the performance phases 3-9 according to § 55 HAOI 2021 in conjunction with Annex 15. The existing energy concept is to be checked and adopted as part of performance phase 3.
