Finland – Hand sanitizer – HUS 028-2026 Käsihuuhteet
Description
The HUS Group requests tenders for ethanol-based hand disinfectants. The products are more precisely described in the tender notice and in Annex 1, Product Annex. This is a total procurement, i.e. the procurement has not been divided into parts. Three contract suppliers will be selected. Electronic auction will be used to implement the procurement. During the contract period, it is possible to procure products belonging to the product groups that are the subject of the contract in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement, which have not been identified in the Product Annex (see contract draft). The contract period is 2 years, after which the contracts will continue in force indefinitely. Prices are fixed for the actual contract period (2 years). This is a joint procurement by several procurement units, which is implemented as a procurement ring. The products requested in this tender notice will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), South Karelia Wellbeing Services County, Kymenlaakso Wellbeing Services County, Päijät-Häme Wellbeing Services County, City of Helsinki, East Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County, Central Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County, Vantaa and Kerava Wellbeing Services County, West Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County and the Finnish Defence Forces. See the contract draft in Annex 2 for more details. At the time of publication of the tender notice, HUS estimates, based on the procurement history, that the total procurement value of the procurement, calculated for 4 years, would be approximately 2.1-2.4 million euros, VAT 0%, including all procurement units involved in the procurement. This is an estimate, and the procurement unit is not committed to the reported euro amounts and the consumption amounts reported in the tender notice. The final order quantities may be larger or smaller than reported. Most of the products are so-called flow-through products, which are ordered from the HUS ordering system, delivered to the HUS central warehouse in Uutistie, Vantaa, and distributed from the HUS central warehouse to the operating points of HUS, Kymenlaakso, City of Helsinki, Central Uusimaa, Vantaa and Kerava, East Uusimaa and the Finnish Defence Forces. Päijät-Häme, South Karelia, and West Uusimaa Wellbeing Services Counties place their orders from their own ordering system, and the products are also delivered to the addresses they specify. HUS estimates that approximately 23% of the total value of the procurement reported above is orders from Päijät-Häme, South Karelia or West Uusimaa Wellbeing Services Counties (non-binding estimate). The target of the procurement and the requirements related to it are described in detail in the tender notice and its annexes. The procurement unit has carried out a market mapping of the procurement before the publication of the tender notice by publishing an information request on 24.4.2026 (Notice Hilma number 2026-047245).
