Germany – Railway station construction work – Modernisierung VST Hagen Hbf - VP 01.3 - Neubau Bahnsteige 1&5, Ausbau PU

The subject of the tender is the construction services for the modernisation of the main railway station in Hagen as part of the project "VP 01.3 – New construction of platforms 1 and 5 and expansion of the pedestrian subway". The scope of services essentially includes site establishment and construction logistics under railway operations, the dismantling of existing platform, roof, staircase, lift and tunnel facilities including disposal of the resulting materials, earthworks, civil engineering and drainage works, cable trench works, the new construction of platform edges and platform surfaces, the erection of platform roofs as well as expansion and facade works in the area of the pedestrian subway. The main quantities include in particular: • Preparation of construction and storage areas totalling approx. 2,200 m², • Dismantling of approx. 1,500 m² of platform surfacing and approx. 532 m of platform edges, • Excavation and backfilling works totalling approx. 2,000 m³, • Disposal of approx. 1,235 t of construction waste, approx. 3,190 t of soil, approx. 48 t of metals and approx. 90 t of old wood, • New construction of approx. 1,068 m of platform edges including foundations and prefabricated parts, • Creation of drainage systems with a total of approx. 715 m of drainage pipes and 21 manholes, • Cable trench works with pipe and cable protection systems totalling more than 1,200 m in length, • Creation of approx. 3,250 m² of platform paving made of concrete block paving including tactile guidance systems, • New construction of platform roofs with a total area of approx. 825 m², • Creation of a glass facade with an area of approx. 740 m² as well as expansion works in the pedestrian subway with floor coverings totalling approx. 580 m². The services will be carried out under ongoing railway operations and taking into account the safety, logistics and construction phase measures required for this. The contract includes all the planning, coordination, documentation and ancillary services necessary for this.
