The Klinikverbund Allgäu GmbH plans the construction of the replacement new building - building section F (= construction section 8) at the Klinikum Kempten.----------------------------------------The Klinikum Kempten is a specialist hospital with eleven main departments, five private departments and several certified, interdisciplinary centres. Approximately 30,000 inpatients are treated annually. The existing "F-Bau" (building section F) in the north of the medical campus has the building substance of the construction years 1960 – 1965 with various younger renovations, installations and extensions. A continuous renovation has not been carried out. The building substance and use do not meet today's requirements or the required space. Furthermore, structural, functional and hygienic defects give rise to the planning of a new building. In addition, the project includes the renewal of the entire energy supply of the Klinikum Kempten campus, various interim measures and the creation of connections to the building complex.
