In kindergartens, a four-time meal regime is provided daily according to the number of children aged 1 to 7 years, which includes a morning snack, lunch, and two additional snacks – before and after lunch, in the following kindergartens: KG №1 “Yan Bibiyan”, KG №3 “Zornitsa”, KG №11 “Elhitsa”, KG №16 “Slaveyche”, KG №17 “Iglika”, KG №18 “8th March”, KG №19 “Shurche”, KG №20 “Veseli ochichki”, KG №21 “Vikhrogonche” – group s. Stamboliyski, KG №22 “Zvunche”, Kindergarten of Arts; For the children's milk kitchens (distribution points), food is prepared for the lunch menu for the following kindergartens: KG №1 building "Pinocchio" - ul. "Breznik" 5, KG №15 "Sun" - Bazara Vesprem, kv. Orpheus, KG №17 "Iglika" - ul. "Gen. Skobelev" 1, KG №18 "8th March" - ul. "Oborishte" №40, KG №20 "Veseli ochichki" - ul. "Bulair" 2, KG №22 "Zvunche" - ul. "Burya" 2. In these distribution points, ready-made food (lunch menu) is delivered and served to children aged 6 months to 1 year and children from 1 to 3 years. The preparation of food for children's institutions is in accordance with Ordinance №1 of 02.02.2018 on the physiological norms for the nutrition of the population, Ordinance № 2 of 07.03.2013 on the healthy nutrition of children aged 0 to 3 years in children's institutions and children's kitchens and Ordinance №6/10.08.2011 on the healthy nutrition of children aged 3 to 7 years in children's institutions. The food is prepared in an object, registered under Art. 26 of the Food Act, in accordance with the preliminary application for the number of portions and must meet the safety and quality requirements regulated in European and national legislation. Each batch of food is accompanied by a document certifying the origin of the food and a document certifying its compliance and safety (Art. 4 of Ordinance № 2 of 20 January 2021 on the specific requirements for the safety and quality of food offered in children's institutions, school canteens and retail outlets on the territory of schools and children's institutions, as well as food offered at organised events for children and students). Food for residential social services: Home for the Elderly “Kenana” (DSE), Home for Adults with Sensory Impairments (DASI) and Centre for Family-Type Accommodation for Adults with Mental Disorders (CSTAPMD) - kv. Bolyarovo provides a three-time meal regime including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Emergency admission to COP-Haskovo provides three-time meals - morning snack, lunch and dinner (upon request), if there are accommodated children/people. Food for daily social services: Day Centre for Support of Children with Disabilities and Their Families (DCSCDTF) – three-time meal regime – breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack; Food for users of Home Social Patronage: Home Social Patronage (HSP) provides two-time meals – lunch or lunch and dinner (delivered together for lunch); Afternoon snack – if necessary, it is ordered for the accommodated people in residential-type social services. The estimated daily quantities of children at 100% attendance in kindergartens for the year is around 2,734, the number of coupons per day for milk kitchens is around 170, and the average number of users of social institutions is around 489 (Appendix №2).
