Germany – Airport buildings construction work – 2026-1004974_Flughafen München_Betonsanierung P20

The Flughafen München GmbH intends to commence the partial renovation of the P20 car park in March 2027. The car park is centrally located on the airport grounds and directly adjoins Terminal 2 and the MAC Forum. With over 6,000 parking spaces, P20 is one of the largest car parks in Germany. The building was constructed around the year 2000; an extension on the west side (Axes F-G, PE05-PE11) took place between 2009 and 2011. The subject of the project is the renovation of load-bearing reinforced concrete components in the area of Axis G on parking levels PE01 to PE04, including adjacent ceilings, columns, beams, and prestressed concrete components. The measure includes in particular: - Concrete restoration on load-bearing components (PE01-PE04) - Waterproofing and asphalt works in PE05 - Dismantling and renewal of drainage facilities - Extensive propping measures for load relief during the works - Works on the entrances/exits and crossings in PE05 - Coordination with parallel ongoing measures in the car park The works will be carried out while the car park is in operation and require high demands on logistics, site safety, scheduling, and coordination with other project participants.
