Belgium – Ventilation installation work – Vervangen stuwventilatoren en hun sturingsgedeelte in parking Reep

The works to be carried out concern: works on the ventilation system in parking Reep, more specifically:

• Removal of the current booster fans;

• Installation of new booster fans at six locations per parking level, according to the supplied study BR26X055 and study BR26072 from Exiss, respectively the study of fire scenarios and how the installation must respond for evacuation of the CO- and LPG-gases in the parking Reep;

• Replacement of the servomotors on the damper grills with adjustable types;

• Adjustment and programming of the entire RWA installation ( = the two large ventilators on the shafts on the sides of the parking and their control elements, as well as the control of the airflow by the motors on the damper grills and the new booster fans on the three parking levels and their control elements) so that it can meet the two matrices of study BR26X055 and study BR26072 from Exiss, whereby the current control unit PLC is to be retained and only needs to be reprogrammed;

• Expansion or adjustment of the web-based page of the PLC;

• Provision of the necessary cabling for the booster fans and the damper grills with placement according to the standard and the rules of good craftsmanship;

• Restoration of the necessary connections with the fire control centre and the CO- and LPG-centre;

• Installation of airflow obstructions at three locations per parking level, more specifically installation of partition walls that from ceiling to floor impede the airflow and consist of masonry with lime sand bricks or a wall made of Metal stud with a finished fireproof plate.

During the one-year warranty period:

• Maintenance of all newly installed components of the RWA installation, as described above.

• Maintenance and repair of the non-replaced components of the RWA installation. These include:

o The large axial ventilators that provide fresh air and extract used air in the parking;

o The frequency converters that control these axial ventilators;

o The shafts, the grills in the parking for the damper grills and the inlet and outlet grills of the shafts on the street side.
