Germany – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Projekt 680: "Quantensichere (Verwaltungs-)PKI (PQ V-PKI)

An appliance is to be developed that can issue and manage X.509 certificates based on post-quantum procedures for use in the administrative PKI. The appliance consists of a running system that provides the corresponding certificate management software and includes a hardware security module for the required cryptographic services. The X.509 certificates comply with current standards/standardisation drafts. The appliance to be developed is to be evaluated in a certification procedure, so that the documentation to be created must meet the corresponding requirements. The certification procedure is not part of the project. In addition, an analysis of the CA processes and the applications used in the PKI is to be carried out. The migration of downstream applications such as email clients is not part of this project.
