Belgium – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – FIDS Software Replacement

In the context of this contract, BAC intends to replace the current Flight Information Display System (FIDS) software, which was developed in-house, with a modern, market-compliant and innovative solution. With this contract, BAC aims to select a FIDS supplier responsible for the delivery, implementation, operational management and maintenance of the FIDS solution. The selected supplier is expected to act as a strategic partner and be end-to-end responsible for the full lifecycle of the FIDS product. The intended cooperation should enable BAC to:

• be flexible and responsive to specific business needs, including configurations and custom extensions for BAC, including dynamic signalling and public transport information display;

• have sufficient capacity, expertise and continuity, without dependency on BAC's internal development resources;

• ensure that the FIDS product continuously evolves in line with relevant market developments, legislation and technological innovations.

The proposed solution should be scalable, future-proof and demonstrably operational at comparable airports, and contribute to a sustainable, stable and high-performing FIDS environment for BAC.
