The contract concerns the cleaning of apartments in special housing. The cleaning must be carried out within 48 hours from the order. Background: To achieve better utilisation of the apartments available in special housing in Umeå Municipality (central city including Holmsund/Obbola, Hörnefors, and Sävar), the management of elderly care has decided to give relatives the opportunity for free cleaning. A prerequisite for free cleaning is that the apartment is vacated within five days after the resident has passed away. This will be an offer that relatives can choose to accept or decline. By reducing the notice period, a new tenant can be offered the opportunity to move in more quickly. There is also hope that people who are medically fully treated will have the opportunity to move to special housing more quickly instead of staying in the hospital.
