The noise monitoring of the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) uniformly and comparably records noise emissions from rail traffic over time and identifies the causes of the emissions or their changes. The data is presented transparently to the public, via levels of individual train passings in real-time at www.laerm-monitoring.de and via statistical evaluations in annual reports. The current contract ends in 2026, so this tender is to commission the continuation from 2027.
