The subject of the procurement is the provision of maintenance and repair services for domestic and commercial appliances to the contracting authority, mainly on weekdays between 7:00 and 16:00, primarily in the Lappeenranta area, but also in other municipalities in South Karelia. Repair service means the contracting authority's separately ordered repair works related to the functionality or functional condition of the appliances. Maintenance service means maintenance measures for appliances, such as annual maintenance or manufacturer-recommended and manufacturer-instruction-compliant scheduled maintenance. The procurement is divided into two sub-areas as follows: Sub-area 1: Maintenance and repair services for domestic appliances Sub-area 2: Maintenance and repair services for commercial appliances. Domestic appliances to be maintained and repaired include, for example, refrigerators, cookers, dishwashers and washing machines. Commercial appliances to be maintained and repaired include washing machines, tumble dryers and drying cabinets in apartment buildings, service buildings, hospitals and institutions. Maintenance and repair of institutional kitchen appliances or cleaning equipment are not included in the scope of this procurement, and maintenance and repair are not included in the warranty. The contracting authority has several brands of domestic and commercial appliances in use. The bidder must state in their bid which brands of domestic and commercial appliances the bidder is able to maintain and repair. During the contract period, the contracting authority's targets and appliances to be repaired may increase somewhat or be taken out of use. The procurement does not include a firm commitment to purchase, but the contracting authority will purchase maintenance and repair services as needed. A maximum of two (2) contract suppliers will be selected for the framework agreement, unless there are fewer acceptable suppliers. The bidder may submit a bid for one or more sub-areas. Partial bids within sub-areas will not be accepted. The selection criteria are the suitability requirements and the criteria set out in the invitation to tender, the most economically advantageous tenders. The most economically advantageous tenders are those that score the highest in the combined price points, i.e. are the cheapest. The target is for the actual contract period to start on 01.10.2026 and end on 30.9.2028. In addition, the procurement unit reserves the right to extend the contract by one year at a time if it wishes, but no more than two option years (1+1). The contracting authority will make a separate decision on the use of any option before the end of the contract period/option period.
