The awarding authority, on behalf of the Participating Services, wishes to conclude a Contract with one market party for Lot 1 (Residual Waste Stream 'Fine') and one market party for Lot 2 (Residual Waste Stream 'Coarse'). The ambition is to process the offered residual waste streams as high-value as possible, in accordance with the waste hierarchy, with an emphasis on the recovery of raw materials, recycling and other useful applications. For waste streams where this is not possible, energy recovery is pursued. The total amount of residual waste to be delivered is variable and cannot be exactly determined in advance. For the maximum contract period of 4 years, the awarding authority uses an estimated order volume of: • Lot 1 Residual Waste Stream 'Fine': 49,000,000 kg • Lot 2 Residual Waste Stream 'Coarse': 21,000,000 kg. No rights can be derived from this estimate.
