The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is the only Technical University in Bavaria. With over 55,000 students, it is one of the largest Technical Universities in Germany. Its headquarters are in Munich. The TUM processes, uses and disposes of its waste on the basis of the Act on the Promotion of the Circular Economy and the Environmentally Sound Management of Waste (KrWG), the Bavarian Waste Act (BayAbfG) and the Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV). The containers and packaging units advertised are primarily used for the legally compliant interim storage, transport and disposal of hazardous waste at the respective TUM locations. The services advertised will be re-awarded by the TUM for the TUM locations according to the tender documents as of 01.01.2027. The TUM is tendering the delivery services for all required container types: cans/drums/containers/boxes for medical waste.
