Germany – Expert witness services – Kreuzungsfreier Ausbau Frankenschnellweg, Abschnitt West: Beweissicherung von Gebäuden, Anlagen und sonstigen Einrichtungen

In the course of expanding the Frankenschnellweg (FSW), construction measures will be carried out in the western section, approximately between the Nbg.-Doos / FÜ junction and the Jansenbrücke (i.e. road renewal/ widening, erection of noise barriers). As a basis for compensating any potential claims for damages, neighbouring buildings and objects should be recorded using evidence preservation techniques in advance. For this purpose, buildings within the construction site, usually in a 25m wide zone, but at least up to the next clear building joint, should be recorded. Before the start of the construction works, the condition of the buildings and other facilities affected by the project must be determined by the evidence preservation procedure, any existing damages must be recorded and documented in terms of location and extent, and the scope of the existing damages must be documented by colour photographs using digital photography with date imprint. The investigation must cover all project parts that can be inspected. Special equipment of buildings and rooms as well as machines, technical facilities and other equipment must also be recorded.
