This tender constitutes the first step in the development of a high-voltage power supply (HVPS) for gyrotron microwave sources to be used in nuclear fusion power plants, including tokamaks and stellarators. The aim is to develop an HVPS that offers improved performance, flexibility and operational versatility compared to existing systems. In particular, the proposed HVPS is to be designed for continuous operation at nominal power and, at the same time, support pulsed operation of up to three times the nominal power.
