The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) has been located at Frankfurter Straße 29-35 (F2935), 65760 Eschborn since 1974. The size of the property is approximately 18,000 m2. The building F2935 is currently being renovated for fire safety and transformed into a modern workplace for approximately 1,000 employees. The building requires that cleaning and maintenance be implemented as an essential component of value preservation. Different materials and their complex care require expertise and a materially and technically coordinated provision. The initial contract duration is 24 months. According to § 2 Abs. 3 of the Annex “Contract”, the contract can be extended several times by unilateral declaration of the contracting authority, but not more than a total contract duration of 48 months. The contractor has no entitlement to an extension. A site visit is scheduled during the tendering phase, which is mandatory for bidders.
