France – Preservation services of exhibits – MISSION DE CONSERVATION-RESTAURATION DES ŒUVRES D’ART DU MUSEE D’ART ET D’HISTOIRE DE FONTENAY-LE-COMTE

This framework agreement concerns the restoration of several works of art held in the collections of the Fontenay-le-Comte Museum. The interventions may involve:

- Curative conservation, i.e. all direct interventions on an item, necessary to stop deterioration and/or limit ongoing degradation.

- Restoration, i.e. actions undertaken on an item in a stable or stabilised condition by curative measures, with the aim of improving its condition (appreciation, understanding and/or use), while respecting its heritage value and the materials and techniques used.

- Or both.
