This section is part of a larger cycle path link included in the departmental cycle scheme, which aims to connect Pontarlier and Vallorbe in Switzerland. It constitutes an autonomous operational section, while contributing to the continuity of an overall route, the implementation of which is envisaged progressively. The contract concerns more specifically the implementation of: - Preliminary Design Studies (AVP); - Project Design Studies (PRO). These studies aim to specify the technical characteristics of the arrangement, to define the conditions for its implementation and to establish the estimated cost, in line with the guidelines resulting from the feasibility studies previously carried out. The contractor will also be responsible for the environmental studies necessary for the implementation of the project. In this respect, it will be responsible for carrying out the case-by-case examination procedure, in accordance with the relevant environmental regulations. Depending on the conclusions of this procedure, it may be required to deepen certain specific environmental aspects (natural environments, wetlands, ecological continuities, etc.) and to produce the required additional studies. Furthermore, the contractor may be mobilised for an additional mission to provide project management assistance in land matters. This mission may include, if necessary, the identification of uncontrolled land plots required for the project, the analysis of land constraints and the contribution to the definition of an appropriate land acquisition or control strategy.
