Visit Bruges is the name by which the tourism service of Stad Brugge is known to the general public. Toerisme Brugge is resolutely opting for digital. The development of a high-performance digital operation is essential to remain relevant to our clients, partners and stakeholders. A cash register system and the system for online sale of walks and boat trips are essential to offer the visitor as much quality and visitor comfort as possible. These systems are part of a broader digital programme through which we can connect with our visitor, both physically and virtually, at locations and times when they are looking for inspiration and information or are willing to share it (e.g. via social media). In particular, it is important to take into account the ease of use for both internal users, collaboration with partners, but also for the visitor. In this project, the migration of the current systems to the new systems and a smooth transition must be taken into account. All systems must be integrated with each other, with the city's accounting package, as well as with the Visit Bruges website and other systems. This requires consideration of a wide range of different stakeholders and actors.
