Czechia – Construction work – Dělnický dům Peklo – sanace společenského sálu

The subject of the contract is the construction modifications and extension of part of the Dělnický dome Peklo site, including the building of the large hall, adjacent changing room facilities, staircase and entrance hall. The complex of buildings was gradually constructed at a site of significant terrain disruption. It contains two underground, one above-ground floors and an attic. The land of the resolved site is bordered by the streets Jízdecká, Tyršova, Pobřežní and reaches almost to the Generála PATTONA bridge. The land parcels are 10265, 10266, 10267, 10268, 9393/1, 10563/31, 10563/4, 10563/8 and 5265/28 in the cadastral area of Plzeň. The object is connected to the communication in ul. Pobřežní and ul. Jízdecká. The resolved part of the object is part of the complex “Dělnický dům Peklo“, which is registered as a cultural monument, official registration number ÚSKP 47588/4-205. The fulfillment of the public contract also includes the performance of an additional building historical survey and a surface restoration survey. Elements and structures identified by the building historical survey as valuable will be dismantled in a professional manner as gently as possible, subsequently repaired and deposited. After the scaffolding is erected, professional restoration surveys of the resolved plaster, resolved stone elements, etc. will be carried out in stages. After the surveys, a decision will be made on the extent of the dismantling of the existing internal plaster (it is expected that 100% of the plaster will be removed in the areas that will not be evaluated as historically valuable with necessity to be left). In the entire scope of the facade, emphasis will be placed on ensuring any traces of the original division, profiling or color, with regard to the proportions of the elements and the height continuity. The aim is to preserve as many of the preserved elements as possible.
