Germany – Building construction work – Ausführungsplanung und Bauausführung sechs Digitaler Steuerzentralen Korridor Rhine-Alpine

The Digital Control Centres (DCC) are state-of-the-art control rooms permanently staffed by traffic controllers. In addition to the workstations, they also have situation centres, offices, technical and computer rooms, as well as spacious sanitary and break areas. The DCC buildings are constructed in three location-dependent types, which essentially differ in the number of workstations and thus in their dimensions. In the Korridor Rhine-Alpine project, the locations Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Darmstadt, Wuppertal, Oberhausen, Köln are being implemented and planned and built in the period 2026 to 2030. Special features include sustainable construction methods, PV systems, future-oriented parking spaces with charging stations and light-flooded workplaces.
