**Subject of the contract**

The contracting authority intends to implement or migrate a tool fully integrated in SAP IS-U for the efficient and precise calculation, display and verification of grid charges for energy supply companies. The solution must meet the following requirements:

1. Functional requirements

o The application enables the automated determination and mapping of current grid usage charges based on published data from the respective grid operators.

o The solution is able to integrate these charges into energy industry billing.

o It should include a verification component that verifies incoming grid usage bills by enabling a simulation of the expected costs and comparing them with the published charge components.

2. System requirements

o The solution must be fully integrable into SAP IS-U.

o Use requires an existing SAP IS-U system and the IDEX-DE component for invoice verification.

3. Data integration

o The solution should include an automated connection to the ene't database to determine the current grid usage charges.

o The data should be updated regularly and integrated into internal calculation and verification processes in real-time.

4. Operational requirements

o The integration into the contracting authority's existing IT infrastructure must be carried out with minimal adaptation effort.

o Existing processes and workflows should be adopted or migrated with reasonable effort, if possible.

5. Future-proofing

o The solution must be compatible with the contracting authority's future system landscape, particularly with regard to the introduction of a new generation of billing systems based on SAP S/4HANA.
