No deadline given

Description

The planned new acquisition concerns a Next Generation high-throughput sequencing device for human genome sequencing ("sequencing device"). Such a device is needed to ensure up-to-date diagnostics of hereditary diseases in Tyrol and Austria, to meet the increasing demands in the research of rare hereditary diseases, and to enable participation in national and international research projects, for example in the field of human genome research. The sequencing device should be able to perform short-read genome analyses with a read length of approximately 70 to 150 nucleotides in a short time and with a high sample throughput. A capacity of around 4,000 samples per year is targeted.
