Section 130a Paragraph 8 SGB V enables health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework rebate contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance companies. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the awarding of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures according to the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB is carried out by DAK-Gesundheit. For medicines to be specified by the bidder in more detail in Annex 2 to the contract for the aforementioned substance Spironolacton (exclusively strength 25mg), ATC C03DA01, DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude medicine rebate contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until new medicine rebate contracts come into force. A rebate contract under the authorisation model for the aforementioned substance will come into force for the first time on 01.07.2026 and will end on 30.06.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months). It will end automatically with the entry into force of the exclusive contract, regardless.
