**MNGES VE 5.8a Carpentry Works Internal Doors Description of the Measure**

The present construction project involves the new construction of the Martin-Niemöller Comprehensive School in Bielefeld. The planning area extends to a northern and a southern plot of land, each with a building to be constructed on it:

**BA South**

- Site area: approx. 8,995 m2

- Maximum gross floor area: approx. 3,457 m2 (basement)

- Gross volume: approx. 37,674 m3 (Category R)

- Gross floor area: approx. 7,128 m2 (Category R)

- Max. building height OK attic: 14.75 m

**BA North**

- Site area: approx. 11,960 m2

- Maximum gross floor area: approx. 7,549 m2 (basement)

- Gross volume: approx. 89,887 m3 (Category R)

- Gross floor area: approx. 16,927 m2 (Category R)

- Max. building height OK attic: 21.80 m

**Type of Service**

The VE5.8 Carpentry Works includes the design, planning, manufacture, delivery and installation of, among others:

- 194 units of internal wooden doors with steel frames,

- 1 unit of sliding door (v.d.W.) with drive

- 63 units of internal wooden doors with wooden frames, partly with light opening or transom

- 160 units of solid wood frame doors, partly with side panel and/or transom in various dimensions as well as fire and sound protection requirements, wet room requirements etc., as well as the provision of further related services such as:

- Hold-open devices, emergency exit door monitoring, other accessories

**Performance Period**

The start of execution is 12 days after the order is placed. According to the preliminary construction schedule, the following performance periods for the installation work of the main service on the construction site are envisaged:

- Start: Week 40 2026 / End: Week 38 2028

**Location of the Construction Site**

The two areas are bounded to the west by Apfelstraße and are separated from each other by the street "An der Reegt". The bidder is recommended to inspect the construction site/construction plot before submitting an offer in order to create a basis for calculation.
