Netherlands – Construction work for water projects – 31209844: Raamovereenkomst baggeren Noord-Nederland 2026-2029

The scope concerns the following works and relates to the entire Principal Waterway Lemmer-Delfzijl:

- The execution of freshwater dredging. This involves the annual prioritised execution of maintenance and the removal of bottlenecks;

- The 'excavation' of acute shallow spots and erosion holes in the fairway;

- The placement of released clay on locations where large erosion holes have occurred that may pose a risk of 'undermining' of dyke walls;

- The removal of several known car wrecks and other large obstructions.

The exact maintenance needs are agreed annually in a Supplementary Agreement. This includes the exact locations and works. There are approximately 40 urgent bottlenecks defined with approximately 100.000m3. In addition, the annual regular dredging need is 27.000m3. The expected maintenance need over 3 years is approximately 180.000 to 200.000m3. See short description and description per lot.
