The subject of the contract is the chartering of a ship for domestic sea transport, which will have all the necessary technical/construction features for the transport of any type of military and non-military equipment (including "dangerous goods"), spare parts, tools, vehicles, communication materials, all types and classes of cargo materials, armament systems, as well as the graded materials used by the Hellenic Armed Forces (GES), to any port in Greece, regardless of their quality condition and their classification (as main or not, consumables, dangerous, sensitive, attractive, etc.) or the volume and weight they present in each case, as specifically defined in the relevant PED and CPV (see 1.2.2 of this document). The requirements of the SY are as per 4.1.6, 6.2 and 8 of the PED, while the characteristics of the ship to be chartered are described in detail in 4.2 and 4.3 of the PED.
