Description

The S.E.E.D.R is responsible for the sorting, treatment and valorisation of household waste (packaging, newspapers, glass, green waste, special household waste, …). It currently comprises 4 Communities of Communes and one Agglomeration Community, representing a total population of 150 716 inhabitants as of 1st January 2026. As part of this responsibility, it must support the local authorities that have set up waste disposal sites or specific collections to ensure the sorting and valorisation of these wastes. Currently, ten waste disposal sites are located on the territory of the S.E.E.D.R and managed by the local authorities (upper and lower quays). Collection is carried out either by the local authority or by a service provider of its choice. The services, which are the subject of the present contract, concern the waste from each local authority on the territory of the S.E.E.D.R.
