Due to the unsalvageable old building, the construction of a new building for a two-track primary school and a single- to two-track secondary school is recommended. Additionally, six classrooms as well as optional special classrooms for the adjacent grammar school are planned. The aim of the project is to create a modern, functionally designed and future-proof school campus that meets the school building recommendations of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the curriculum of the Thüringer Schulordnung as well as the current pedagogical, technical and energy requirements. The new building is intended to create a sustainable, barrier-free and pedagogically high-quality educational location that will contribute to the long-term improvement of the region's school and educational infrastructure.
