Germany – Construction work for power plant – TNW Los-1 Solarthermie Kombiprojekt Mecklenbeck

The Stadtwerke Münster GmbH intend to construct a free-field solar thermal plant (ST plant) in the Münster-Mecklenbeck district to support the existing district heating network of the city of Münster. The Kombiprojekt Mecklenbeck includes the planning and tendering of a free-field solar thermal plant and a free-field photovoltaic plant (PV plant). The ST plant will have an approximate gross collector area of 85,000 m² on a free field of about 19 ha. In addition, a PV plant will be installed, which is primarily designed to cover own consumption.
