Germany – Supervision of building work – 2026-60_ENB_TB_Oesede_SiGeKo

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport - Osnabrück Division (NLSTBV, Osnabrück Division) intends to replace the existing Oesede valley bridge km 7.979 over DB / WI. Düte (BW 5898; 3714507) on federal road B 51 with a new bridge structure in Georgsmarienhütte. The structure, dating from 1965, spans, among other things, the Oeseder Straße (municipal road), the "Haller Willem" railway line, and the watercourse Düte in the Oesede district. Federal road 51 runs from Münster in the south to Osnabrück in the north, taking on regional traffic and distributing it to the lower road network. Section 130 (Osnabrücker Straße) is located in Georgsmarienhütte (Oesede district), immediately after junction NK3714009 (B 51; L 95). In the section under consideration (section 130), the traffic volume (DTV 2021) is 20,700 vehicles/24h and the DTVSV is 900 SV/24h. Thus, the proportion of heavy goods traffic is around 4.3% and has increased by approx. 12.5% compared to 2015 (DTV 2015 - 19,900 vehicles/24h; DTVSV 2015 - 800 SV/24h). Overall traffic has increased by around 4%. The section of federal road 51 under consideration is in an embankment due to the Oesede valley bridge. The carriageway will be adapted to the new cross-section of the bridge. Due to the wider cross-section of the carriageway, the embankment areas must be adapted and returned to their original state. The alignment of the carriageway is based on the existing route. The client and promoter of the project is the Federal Republic of Germany. The planning approval decision has not yet been made, it is expected in September 2026. As soon as this is available, the documents will be made available. The estimated construction costs for the entire project are approximately 30.55 million EUR (see page 7). With this contract, the award of the SiGeKo (structure / road construction / traffic safety) service is to be carried out.
