Netherlands – Engineering works and construction works – Herinrichting Veursestraatweg

The project “Herinrichting Veursestraatweg” in the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg focuses on the reconstruction and re-profiling of an important connecting road between Leidschendam and Voorschoten. The aim is to make the road safer for traffic, improve crossability, better integrate the road with the surrounding landscape and provide space for future area developments, such as housing. The works mainly consist of:

- carrying out various clearance works;

- cleaning watercourses;

- excavating, transporting and processing soil;

- processing sand;

- laying culverts;

- installing sewerage and pressure pipes;

- placing revetments;

- processing roadbase materials;

- processing asphalt;

- applying surface treatment;

- laying paving;

- planting trees;

- placing site separations;

- fertilising and sowing;

- additional works.
