The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is created for the supply of medical devices for the needs of the contracting authority. The initial "Specification of Medical Devices" attached to the documentation lists the required medical devices and their quantities according to the contracting authority's assessment at the time of DPS creation. These quantities are indicative and do not obligate the contracting authority to order them in full. The specification may be changed during the course of the DPS, including the addition of new medical devices and/or the change of quantities of medical devices. Each individual medical device is called "nominal".
