Belgium – Medical equipments – Leveren van toestel voor intra-operatieve beeldvorming en navigatiesysteem

Through this tender, UZ Leuven wishes to procure an advanced system for intra-operative imaging and a navigation system (image guided surgery system). The new equipment will be used for surgical interventions on the skull and spine by neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, trauma surgeons and maxillofacial surgeons. The system must be able to provide high-resolution imaging for both spinal and skull operations. The system must allow for real-time imaging to support surgeons during complex procedures. Applications include surgery for spinal deformities, degenerative and traumatic spinal surgery, skull base surgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), stereotactic biopsy, etc. With an eye to the future, the compatibility/availability of a robotic system for spinal applications, DBS, stereotactic biopsy, etc., will also be assessed. However, this robotic system is not part of this procurement.
