Germany – Communication land-line rental – Betrieb Gigabit-Netz des EBLC - Landkreis Calw Cluster 1

Based on existing infrastructure, the construction of a subsidised gigabit network based on FTTB technology is planned in the municipal areas named in section A.3 of the task description provided with the tender documents, for the years 2027 to 2029. Starting from the existing backbone network of the Calw district, the subsidised gigabit network (FTTB) consists of feeder infrastructure into the supply area and intra-municipal distribution networks in the respective expansion areas. An overview of the planned gigabit network (FTTB) as well as a cartographic representation of the expansion area defined by address points will be provided with the tender documents. This newly created passive gigabit network is to be successively made available to a private network operator as a ready-to-operate subnetwork for use and establishment of the active network level and the provision of high-bitrate broadband connections in return for payment.
