Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss einer nicht-exklusiven Rabattvereinbarung nach § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V zum Wirkstoff Roxadustat, ATC B03XA05 für die Zeit 01.06.2026 - 31.05.2028

Section 130a, paragraph 8, of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V) enables health insurance funds and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework rebate contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-specific, formal award procedures takes place in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the German Act Against Restraints of Competition (GWB) by DAK-Gesundheit. For medicines to be specified by the bidder in Annex 2 to the contract for the aforementioned substance Roxadustat, ATC B03XA05, DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude rebate contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until new pharmaceutical rebate contracts come into force. A rebate contract under the licensing model for the aforementioned substance will come into effect for the first time on 01.06.2026 and will end on 31.05.2028. It will end automatically with the entry into force of the exclusive contract, regardless.
