Deadline passed

Description

The “Bike & Ride-Offensive” of DB InfraGO AG supports municipalities in the context of the National Climate Protection Initiative (NKI) of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUKN) in expanding bicycle parking facilities at train stations. Numerous new parking options for bicycles are to be created in the immediate vicinity of train stations. The aim is to facilitate the switch from car to “Bike & Ride” by aligning train stations more closely with the needs of cyclists and providing sufficient safe and well-structured parking spaces. In order to be able to realise the planned capacities quickly and efficiently, a far-reaching standardisation of both the processes and the bicycle parking facilities is envisaged. In this context, DB InfraGO AG – as a service for interested municipalities – is conducting the present Europe-wide invitation to tender in an open procedure for the award of a framework agreement. The subject of the planned framework agreement is the production, delivery and on-site installation of standardised plant types, in particular row racks (high-low adjusters, single and double-sided) and double-decker parking systems (high-low adjusters, single and double-sided). This gives the municipalities, as future purchasers, the opportunity to call up services for the delivery and installation of standardised bicycle parking facilities directly from the framework agreement. The aim is to significantly reduce the tendering effort as well as the planning and installation effort at the municipal level and to accelerate the implementation of the measures. So far, municipalities have registered at around 1,000 train stations as part of the “Bike & Ride-Offensive” and expressed their interest in creating additional bicycle parking facilities. At more than 300 train stations, the new facilities have already been built. Note: As early as 2025, a four-year framework agreement for the delivery and erection of standard bicycle collection lockers and canopies was concluded with Kienzler Stadtmobiliar GmbH. The bicycle parking facilities provided for in this invitation to tender must be compatible with the systems of the aforementioned supplier. The relevant dimensions are defined in Appendix 6. The Bike+Ride-Offensive is a comprehensive support offer for municipalities. DB InfraGO AG supports in the form of consultation, site search and provision as well as tendering of framework agreements for bicycle parking facilities. The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUKN) offers municipalities financial support for projects of the Bike+Ride-Offensive as a separate funding priority within the Municipal Directive, which is part of the National Climate Protection Initiative (NKI). The NKI is currently limited in its duration until the end of 2027, an extension beyond 2027 is possible but not yet decided. Technical information and drawings for the standard plant types (bicycle collection lockers and canopies) can be found at the following link: https://bikeandride.bahnhof.de/bikeandride/Die-5-Standardanlagen. A framework agreement will be concluded per lot. Termination option: An option for unilateral termination by the contracting authority at the end of the second or third year of the contract period is agreed. The contracting authority will declare the termination at the latest 3 months before the end of the second or third year of the contract period. Individual contracts already concluded remain unaffected by the termination of the framework agreement.
