The subject of the procurement are microbiological determinations from soil and water samples, as well as services related to these determinations. In addition, the contract includes analyses related to the aforementioned use, which the Supplier uses for microbiological determinations. Microbiological determinations from soil and water samples are related to the investigation of suspected environmental crimes. Environmental crime samples are of various types, such as natural water, wastewater, or solid samples (e.g. soil or sediment samples). Samples are collected from the suspected emission, emission source, and surrounding area. The analysis of samples includes the identification and quantification of various microbiological contaminants with the necessary pre-treatments. The research order specifies which parameters are to be investigated from the samples at any given time. CONTRACT PERIOD

The contract period is three (3) years. The contract includes an option to extend the contracts for a maximum of three (3) years.

PROCUREMENT SCOPE

The estimated VAT-exclusive value of the procurement is 50 000 - 120 000 euros during the contract period, including the option period. It is difficult to estimate the value of the determinations to be procured, as it depends on the number of events requiring determinations. Hansel Oy acts in a consultative role in the procurement.
