Finland – Social work and related services – Vammaisten henkilöiden asumisen tuen ja lyhytaikaisen huolenpidon hankinta

The subject of the procurement is the support for living and short-term care services for clients in the Northern Ostrobothnia well-being services county (hereinafter the Well-being Services County), who have a need for support related to a disability. Support for living can be provided in a residential unit, group housing, a housing group, or in the client's own home. Short-term care can be provided in group housing or a housing group. Support for living is arranged primarily on the basis of the Act on Services for People with Disabilities (675/2023) or the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014), in accordance with the purchaser's client-specific decision. Short-term care can also be arranged on the basis of the Act on Support for Home Care (937/2005) or the transitional provision defined in the Act on Services for People with Disabilities, in accordance with the Act on Special Care for People with Developmental Disabilities (519/1977).
