The Wasserversorgung Bayerischer Wald, a public-law entity in the form of a special-purpose association, supplies approximately 500 000 people in 7 districts with drinking water. Water extraction is based on two pillars, the Frauenau drinking water reservoir and the well field in Moos. For more information, visit www.waldwasser.eu. The existing waterworks in Moos were newly constructed in 2018. The capacity of the waterworks is now to be expanded. For this purpose, a second treatment building is to be constructed. The new treatment building will be constructed next to the existing one and will include the complete treatment technology, control, medium-voltage and emergency power supply. It will be technically connected to the existing waterworks. As part of this tender, the basic services of performance phases 1-6 of the performance spectrum of structural design (§ 51 HOAI in conjunction with Appendix 14 No. 14.1) as well as the special service of the engineering inspection of the execution of the structure for compliance with the approved static documents (performance phase 8 site supervision) will be commissioned in stages.
