Germany – Construction project management services – GAZ_PS Georg August Zinn Schule Kassel

The municipal assembly of the City of Kassel decided in 2019 to collaborate with GWG Projektentwicklung GmbH and to establish the Stadt Kassel Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG (SKI) to implement the municipal school renovation program. SKI assumes the client function, supported by GWG Projekte in project management and project control. For the Georg-August-Zinn-Schule (GAZ) in Kassel-Oberzwehren, the modernization and renovation of the North Building is planned due to changed pedagogical requirements, the planned integration of a primary level, and the school construction guidelines of the City of Kassel. The basis for this is a concept study developed as part of the "Phase Null", which develops a pedagogical learning cluster concept and proves the fundamental feasibility in the existing structure. By resolution of 08.12.2025, GWG Projekte was commissioned with the planning and implementation of the project "Renovation and Reconstruction of the Existing North Building". The aim is to develop a modern school building for a five-track lower secondary level with approx. 700 pupils, including the necessary areas for administration, teamwork and school catering. The implementation of the construction measures is carried out in sections and currently without an interim solution.
