Germany – Metal roof-covering work – Sanierung A-Bau Berufliches Schulzentrum Kulmbach

The measure includes the partial renovation of the A-building at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Kulmbach, including the complete renewal of the central heating system for the entire school complex. The building, erected in 1960, will be energetically modernised by renovating the facade and roof. Comprehensive structural and technical renovations will be carried out inside. The heating radiators in the classrooms, which are over 60 years old, will be replaced with modern heating ceilings. In addition, an elevator will be installed to make all floors accessible without barriers. The administrative area on the ground floor, including the teachers' lounge, secretariat, and headmaster's offices, will be fundamentally restructured. The auditorium will remain a venue and examination room. On the upper floors, 18 classrooms with associated preparation rooms will be modernised. The basement will in future accommodate storage and technical rooms as well as integrated subject rooms for vocational preparation classes.
